How do we encourage high school students to enroll in college courses, and how do we make the process easy so we don't lose them along the way?
Let’s be real: getting a high schooler to complete a college application is a sport in itself. You’re fighting a ticking clock, parent signatures, principal approvals, and the fact that teenagers do not check email. I’m on the ground seeing this firsthand, so I know the stakes. If a single step feels too confusing, they just drop off. And missing a registration window means waiting a whole semester. Because it’s high-volume and incredibly time-sensitive, my job is to be the ultimate safety net. Instead of just blasting out links and crossing my fingers, I clear tech glitches with hands-on school workshops and slide straight into their texts with reminders, tracking the whole pipeline like a hawk so no one falls through the cracks. It’s fast-paced, but by making the process foolproof, we make sure no one falls through the cracks.

What It Actually Takes
Before the application process even starts, I have to embed myself in the high school ecosystem. I take on the end-to-end promotion and host large-scale info sessions so students actually know who I am.
The Real Work Happens in the Trenches
Every single student case is completely different, which means a massive chunk of my day is spent in private, one-on-one meetings troubleshooting highly specific, tedious roadblocks.
The Bottom Line
I step in as the hyper-vigilant, high-touch system on the ground so these high schoolers can actually secure their futures without getting tripped up by the paperwork.
